1. Booking & Deposits
All appointments made with Deco Vinyl Wraps Ltd are considered provisional until a deposit has been received.
Provisional bookings may be held until the stated deposit due date, which is typically 7 days prior to the installation date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Once your deposit has been received, your booking will be officially confirmed and secured.
Deposits are deducted from the final balance of the project.
The remaining balance must be paid upon completion of works via:
Cash
Secure invoice payment link
If a deposit is paid after the provisional booking window has expired, the original appointment date may no longer be available. In this situation, we will offer the next available fitting date.

2. Deposit Refund Policy
As of 05/05/26, all deposit refunds processed by Deco Vinyl Wraps Ltd are subject to a £20 administration fee deduction.
This policy has been introduced due to additional processing procedures and transaction charges incurred when refunding invoice payments.
We use invoice payments as they provide customers with one of the most secure methods of payment.
Refunds are processed only where eligible under these Terms & Conditions.

3. Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to reschedule any appointment.
If you provide more than 48 hours’ notice:
Your booking may be transferred to another available date.
Additional charges may apply if materials have already been ordered specifically for your booking.
If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment:
Your booking will be treated as a cancellation.
Your deposit may become non-refundable.
A cancellation charge of up to 40% of the booking value may apply.
A £20 restocking charge may also apply where materials have already been ordered.
If Deco Vinyl Wraps Ltd is unable to attend your appointment for any reason, you will be offered:
A full eligible refund, or
The next available appointment date
Where materials have already been purchased specifically for your project, material costs may be deducted from refunds where applicable.

4. Surface Condition & Existing Damage
Customers must inform us prior to booking if any surfaces intended for wrapping contain:
Existing vinyl wrap
Paint
Chips, cracks, swelling, peeling or damage
Water damage
Loose laminate
Structural defects
Vinyl wrap is only as effective as the surface it is applied to.
Failure to disclose existing issues may:
Affect the finish quality
Require additional labour
Result in additional charges
Prevent completion of works
In some circumstances, replacement doors or repairs may be recommended instead of wrapping.

5. White Vinyl & Transparency Notice
Please note that some white vinyl finishes can be semi-transparent. Depending on the colour underneath, warm tones may slightly show through the material.
Customers interested in alternative solutions, including our grey-backed vinyl products, should discuss this with our team prior to booking.

6. Customer Preparation Responsibilities
Before our fitters arrive, customers must ensure:
Work areas are cleaned and accessible
Drawers and relevant surfaces are emptied where required
Obstacles such as furniture, beds, appliances or décor are removed where necessary
Parking arrangements, permits, access codes, alarm information or key safe details are provided in advance
If paid parking is required, these costs may be added to the final invoice.
For insurance purposes:
Customers should remove or move heavy appliances prior to arrival where delicate flooring is present
Our fitters are not responsible for moving heavy items
Our fitters are not licensed waste carriers. Waste may be bagged where possible, however removal services may incur additional charges through a third-party waste provider.

7. Payment Terms
Final payment is due immediately upon completion of works.
Accepted payment methods:
Cash
Secure invoice payment link
Customers must advise their preferred payment method prior to the installation date, as invoices are prepared in advance by our administration team.
Failure to make payment on completion may result in additional recovery action and charges.

8. Vinyl Care & Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and lifespan of your vinyl installation:
Avoiding the below can void warranty.
Heat Protection
Vinyl can withstand moderate temperatures depending on the product chosen; however excessive heat exposure may cause distortion or damage.
We strongly recommend:
Using chopping boards on wrapped worktops
Using heat mats, pan stands or protective barriers for hot items
Avoiding direct heat from hair tools, irons or heated appliances
Cleaning
Use:
Mild household cleaning products
Neutral pH detergents
Soft cloths or non-abrasive sponges
Avoid:
Bleach
Acetone
Nail polish remover
Harsh chemicals
Abrasive cleaning products
Strong acidic cleaners
Hair dye or staining agents
For stubborn stains, diluted isopropyl alcohol may be used carefully.

9. Warranty
All qualifying vinyl installations include a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the installation date.
This warranty does not cover:
Misuse
Excessive heat damage
Accidental damage
Improper cleaning methods
Third-party alterations
Normal wear and tear
Warranty coverage applies only where the care guidance provided by Deco Vinyl Wraps Ltd has been followed.

10. Optional Accidental Damage Cover
Optional accidental damage cover may be available for standard worktop vinyl installations at a cost of £110 for 12 months.
This must be purchased while fitters are on-site so that installation condition can be verified and signed off.
Terms & Conditions apply.
This cover excludes durable vinyl ranges , wrapping of other areas other than worktops unless otherwise stated.

11. Material Selection & Restocking Charges
Customers should provide their final vinyl selection ideally at least 7 days before installation.
If material selections are changed within 48 hours of installation:
A £20 restocking charge may apply
Delays to installation dates may occur

12. Health & Safety / Staff Conduct
Deco Vinyl Wraps Ltd maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour toward staff, contractors or fitters.
Our fitters reserve the right to leave a property immediately if they feel unsafe or uncomfortable. In such circumstances:
Deposits may be retained
Additional charges may apply
It is the customers responsibility to ensure children, pets and vulnerable persons are kept at distance during the installation due to the nature of tools present.
The installation address provided at booking must be the same address where works are carried out for insurance and staff safety purposes.

13. Hinges, Fixtures & Existing Wear
During door removal and reinstallation, existing hinges and fittings may show signs of wear due to age or prior condition.
Deco Vinyl Wraps Ltd cannot accept responsibility for hinge failures caused by pre-existing wear and tear.
Replacement hinges may be available at additional cost.

14. Removal of Vinyl
If customers choose to remove vinyl themselves:
Heat should be applied gradually using a hairdryer
Vinyl should be removed slowly in sections
Certain durable vinyl products may use adhesion primers and should be discussed with our team before removal.

15. Fire Safety
Our vinyl products are manufactured using self-extinguishing materials, meaning that in the unlikely event of ignition, the material is designed to extinguish itself once the direct heat or flame source is removed.
However, Deco Vinyl Wraps Ltd cannot guarantee fire resistance under all conditions and accepts no liability for:
Fire damage
Heat damage
Smoke damage
Injury
Electrical faults
Appliance misuse
Improper installation of third-party appliances
Any loss or damage resulting from exposure to excessive heat, naked flames, sparks, or combustible materials
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all heat-producing appliances, cookware, candles, electrical items, and other ignition sources are used safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidance.
Vinyl surfaces should never be exposed to direct flames or excessive prolonged heat.

16. Acceptance of Terms
By paying a deposit, confirming a booking, or allowing works to commence, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
